Terms of Service
These terms govern how Speechy can be used, how subscriptions work, and the responsibilities that come with recording, transcription, AI workflows, and exports.

1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Speechy, including the iPhone app, Apple Watch app, widgets, extensions, and the Speechy website.
By using Speechy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Speechy provides
Speechy helps users record audio, transcribe speech, organize notes, generate AI summaries and action items, translate content, export subtitles, and use related productivity workflows.
Features may change over time, and some capabilities depend on your device, Apple platform support, subscription status, configured AI providers, and local or online model availability.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to record, transcribe, upload, import, translate, export, or share any content you use with Speechy.
You must comply with applicable laws concerning privacy, consent, copyright, and data protection in your jurisdiction.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the content you create or process through Speechy, subject to the rights needed to operate the service or complete the feature you request.
You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and use of your recordings, transcripts, exports, translations, and AI-generated outputs.
5. AI and external providers
Speechy may support Apple Intelligence, local MLX models, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, and other optional providers. If you enable or configure these workflows, the relevant request content may be sent to those services.
Third-party providers are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, service limits, and uptime. We are not responsible for their independent conduct.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Speechy offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions, including monthly and yearly plans. In the United States, the current reference prices shown in our metadata are US$7.49 per month and US$71.99 per year, though regional pricing may vary.
Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings after purchase.
7. No unlawful or abusive use
You may not use Speechy to violate the law, infringe intellectual property rights, engage in fraud, harass others, or process content in ways that are prohibited by applicable law or platform rules.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including AI integrations, local model support, export formats, and pricing structures, to improve the product or comply with operational and legal requirements.
9. Disclaimer
Speechy is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee that transcription, translation, speaker recognition, subtitle timing, or AI-generated outputs will always be error-free, complete, or suitable for every professional, legal, medical, or compliance-sensitive use case.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speechy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Speechy if we believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, or used the service in a harmful or abusive way.
12. Governing terms and updates
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Speechy after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
